Sarah Montroy

Sarah is a mixed-media artist living on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples. Fascinated by our relationship with objects, she creates paintings and textile works with an assemblage of personal and found materials, focusing on the associations and longing for moments of simplicity that arise from certain arrangements. In her ceramic works, Sarah contemplates the beauty of a well-made object, while exploring themes of ecology, reconciliation, and her place in the world.
