Claire Martin

I am a Fine Arts student studying at Langara College, and living alongside a harbour in the quiet fishing town of Ladner, B.C. My life here has inspired my interest in nautical history, fiction and story-telling. This is the basis for much of my practice, as I retell personal histories and mythology, juxtaposing the past with our present, and fiction with reality. In recent work I have begun to thread concept and medium together, in my screen prints, paintings, and drawings.
