Georgia Fairhurst

Georgia Fairhurst is a visual artist of European descent who grew up on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples (Richmond, BC). Her work investigates the complexities of place and land rooted in her own experiences growing up with a profound relationship to the natural world. Georgia’s practice focuses on hand-built ceramics and engages in both material and process-based experimentation to explore vulnerability, uncertainty and resiliency.
